Yes, it's that time of year again! It's only a matter of time until it's declared as a National holiday! The grand total of cups of tea drunk in 2011 is 1286. Despite the previous year's low total, 2011 had the highest amount recorded since records began. You would have thought that this would be cause for celebration; but sadly, the database brought to light some saddening news. During the year there was tea brewed - by my own hand no less - that was left, forgotten about; only to be discovered later in the day… stone cold. This was extremely irresponsible of me and I'm ashamed to say that this happened not once, but on two separate occasions.
